Drykos' crystallizing technology is a chemical treatment that, when added to concrete as an admixture at the time of its preparation or applied as a coating or in the form of mortar, waterproofs concrete and prolongs its durability.

Drykos is the first Italian-owned company to research and develop and produce in Italy crystallizing action waterproofers with low environmental impact, complying with European quality standards and the highest sustainability parameters.

Infrastructure protection with crystallizing technology for resilient concrete

The active ingredients of Drykos crystallizers react chemically with the byproducts of cement hydration, forming an insoluble needle-like crystalline structure in its pores that becomes an integral part of concrete and makes it impermeable to water and other liquids, from whatever direction they come.

The chemical components of Drykos crystallizer remain active over time, and in the event of moisture or water coming in, they seal microcracks up to 0.5 mm.
